"Ten Stirling Bed and Breakfast" and now "Ten Stirling Studio" is set in mature gardens a mere 4 km from Sandton CBD and the Johannesburg CBD and is well positioned for access to OR Tambo International due to easy access to the M1 and N1 Highways. It's proximity to Melrose Arch, Rosebank, the Wanderers Stadium and Golf course, Corlett Drive, Wits University, Balfour Park, Sasani Film Studios and the Norwood Mall also helps to make it a most convenient location, whether in the city on business or for sport.
The main house, a renovated a colonial style home, was originally built in 1938. It has grown through the years into an executive style residence whilst retaining it's old world warmth and inviting nature.
Breakfast is served on the verandah overlooking the pool and action-tennis court in summer and in the dinning room in less pleasant weather.Just 20 minutes walk away in Norwood, or Melrose Arch, there are a large variety of shops and restaurants. Mr Delivery has a direct line to the front door! A very short drive, will get you to Rosebank, Balfour Park and or Sandton.
Facilities include a swimming pool, tennis court and use of a braai. Extra's include laundry service, baby sitting, coded wireless broadband.
"Ten Stirling Studio" provides for, meeting rooms, an Art Gallery, dormitory, party venue, or private accommodation for a Family.
Ten Stirling B&B and Ten Stirling Studio is thus well suited for the busy executive or as a base for touring the region.
Accommodation is available in 3 en suite Non Smoking standard rooms, 2 of which have double locking inter-leading doors for groups or families and 2 En Suite Superior Non Smoking rooms. There are 2 en suite Non Smoking Twin rooms, one with 2 single beds and one with 2 double Beds. Accommodation in the Studio can be arrange for either a "suite" with lounge dinning and kitchen areas, for those who need or want a bit more space and independence, and a dormitory space for up to 6 individuals happy to share with each other.
We serve a hearty breakfast between 07h00 and 09h00 weekdays and 08h00 and 10h00 weekends. Dinners are available by special arrangement.
Please note that we love animals, and have 3 large, noisy but friendly dogs and an insanely friendly cat. If you are however, not that fond of dogs or cats, we will not be offended if you prefer to not book with us.
